The two Have an (urban) family winery that was founded in 1843 in the northern part of Bavaria on the river Main. Since 2012 the two have turned it upside down: 7ha are farmed organically, the juice becomes wine without additives and gets bottled without fining, filtering and no added sulfites.
The Vater and Sohn white blend is 22% Bacchus (direct press), 57% Müller-Thurgau (partly skin fermented for about a week, partly direct press) 21% Silvaner (partly skin fermented for about a week, partly direct press). Full mouthfeel, slight fruit-forward with tropical fruit and white flowers, minerality with a pleasant funk! Long finish
