Ahhhh... The historic Ridge Vineyards. Welcome home Ridge. Welcome home.
Ridge has been making phenomenal single vineyards wines since 1962. Starting with the historic Montebello and then 2 years later making their first Zinfandel. For more than 6 years Ridge has been recognized accross the globe for its consistent quality. Ridge is the largest farmer of organic grapes in Sonoma County and in the Santa Cruz mountain appellation. "Just three years after the first Lytton Springs vintage in 1972, it was clear from the consistency of character and quality that this was one of those sites where soil, climate, and varietal were perfectly matched."
